
ONOSMA:
From the Balkans, this highly ornamental
perennial loves dry sunny sites. Growing
to 40 cm tall, this uncommon plant produces pale yellow tubular flowers from
June through late August. Entire
plant is stiff and covered with tiny hairs.
Easy warm germinator, seeds should be started indoors in containers in
April/May and transplanted out. Cover
the seeds with 1 cm of soil and keep warm and moist.
Ideal for the rock garden or small flower bed.
