MOUNTAIN DAISY: Hailing from the Central Rocky Mountain States, this close relative of our native Sneezeweed (H. autumnale) blooms in early summer. Flowers are deep yellow to orange in colour on plants that can reach 1m in height. Ideal for a dry well-drained site in full sun, this species has proven very hardy in our growing plots. Seeds can be sown in late fall or early spring direct in the ground, or started in containers for transplanting later. Cover the seeds with 1 cm of soil. The higher the soil temperature, the faster the germination rate on these seeds. 80 seeds. P542
