GLORIOSA DAISY: One of the most vivid flowers we grow - and long lasting. Blooms appear in July and continue on till late October. Developed from the Brown (or Black) Eyed Susan, Gloriosa Daisies come in a fascinating mixture of golden yellow, deep maroon to copper petals surrounding a large brown centre. Some blooms measure 10 cm across. Start indoors in April, sow direct in May or fall seed. Cover seeds only slightly. Makes a great cut flower or a spectacular show bed when planted enmasse. They need full sun and well-drained rather poor soils. To 90 cm tall. 200 seeds. P629
