ALPINE POPPY:   Not entirely sure if this is properly named as it came to me without authentication. A diminutive species growing to 20 cm, the flowers are pale yellow and begin to appear in mid June and may continue until late August.  Full to partial sun with average soil suit it best. Seeds can be sown direct in late fall, early spring or started in cell trays in mid April. Cover the seeds with just a fine dusting of soil. Germination is best with cool temperatures and possibly with the absence of light.  60 seeds.    P603
