CANADA WILD RYE:   One of the most popular native landscaping grasses, this species has gracefully arching seed heads. It tolerates a little shade, but does best in dry conditions in full sun. Growing in a tuft, it can reach 120 - 150 cm tall. The seed heads make great dried arrangements. Sow seeds in early to mid May - we have also had good results when seeded in October. Takes two years to mature. Important grass for erosion control and for providing seeds for birds and small mammals in the fall and winter.   200 seeds.    NG940
