LOVAGE:   Leaves add a delightful celery/parsley flavour to soups and stews. Vigorous, tall herb that returns in early spring. Sow outdoors in May in rows 60 cm apart, group seeds in 5-10's. Cover seeds with .5 cm of soil. Cool weather seems to aid the germination process. Keep moist. Prefers a sunny location, but will tolerate some shade. Lovage can reach heights of 2 m or more so give it lots of space. Makes a good background foliage plant for flowers, or as a compliment to shrubs and ground cedars.   80 seeds.    H1072
