NIGELLA: Also called Love-in-the-mist and Persian Jewels, this interesting flower is used mainly for its dried seed pods. A mix of blue, white and lavender blooms are nestled amid lacy foliage. The seed pods are usually green with purple stripes. Seeds can be sown direct in late fall or early spring or started indoors and transplanted out. Full sun with average to rich soils and even moisture works best. Cover the seeds with .5 cm of soil. Cut and hang the seed pods upside down before they fully mature. 80 seeds. A169
