LEMON MINT: A vigorous plant with a wonderful taste and aroma of lemons. Usually grown for a cut flower or as an interesting ornamental - the leaves and blossoms can be used in teas or potpourris. Easily started from seed, this non-invasive mint produces masses of pink-purple blossoms from July to late frost. Flowers can be dried also. Best to start in flats indoors and transplant in late May. Cover the seeds only slightly - keep moist and warm till germination occurs. Best in full sun and average soil. Plants need space between each other for good air circulation. 50 seeds. A154.
